Philadelphia Flip the Switch Workshop for Educators a great success!

On June 1st, 2012 the first Flip the Switch workshop was held at the beautiful Le Meridien Hotel in Philadelphia.

Experts from Cornell and Harvard presented in a highly customized, intimate setting, showing participants how to:

  • Enhance classroom interaction with cellphone polling and translate the results to more inclusive conversations.
  • Adapt technologies to large or small classroom settings.
  • Incorporate the latest technologies into their teaching with less effort.
  • Use mobile apps and digital video to renew attention spans.

The group was mix of beginners and seasoned technology users. No advanced technology expertise was needed. Many shared their own experiences and all got a chance to practice the techniques and apps discovered by the FTS team.
